I have to back track a bit. Somehow we are already mid-July and I have yet to post much! The days, weeks, months of this summer are going by so quickly!!
We had a very fun Fourth of July. This year was funky because the Fourth fell on a Wednesday but also because Amanda (daycare) had 7/6 through 7/13 off so we had use some vacation time to accomodate for that rather than just to head up north.
On Tuesday 7/3, we had a normal work day and then had Adam and Michelle and fam over for dinner, water fun, crafts and a few low key fireworks. Anoka had their fireworks display on Tuesday rather than Wednesday so Michelle and I decided to take the girls (the dads stayed home with the boys) to see some REAL fireworks! Michelle brought glow bracelets for the girls (HUGE HIT!) and we packed up a bowl of popcorn and a picnic blanket and bug spray...LOTS of skeeters! Us girls had a grand time and made some wonderful memories!
We had a lazy Wednesday morning and got Bruggers for breakfast. Gabs opened her bagel to find it red, white and blue! Cool!!
Then we visited Tim, Kathy & Whitney for a little pool time and lunch and then had dinner with Steph, Jeff and Evan. Fun time with great friends!
On Thursday, Gma & Gpa Dellis took the kids up to the cabin (Patrick and I had a date!) and then we met them there on Friday evening after work. It was gorgeous weather and we all had a lovely time.
