Say What?!

Isaac has this scream. Well, actually, it's a SCREECH. And it's very effective in getting your attention and getting him what he wants ASAP (you will do anything to for the ear piercing screech to cease!). I've been trying to reinforce the few words that Isaac has as well as use words when we give him what he needs/wants, to help him understand how to communicate with words rather than the high pitch screech.

We were in the car yesterday and I said, "Isaac, can you say duck?". Gabby chimes in and says, "Yeah! Or can you say CHICKEN?!"

I couldn't stop laughing!

Bottomless

Our kids are good eaters and we are so very thankful for that! At times, it seems they are bottomless! Isaac's new thing is to b-line to the fridge when the door is open, so he can rummage through whatever he can reach. He was wandering around last night with a cucumber under his arm while I was making dinner...then decided to have a snack! (I tried to get a pic with it underarm, but he wasn't having it; kept turning his back to me. I'm sure he thought I was going to take it away!)

Say What?!

One night when we were leaving my parents house, I told Gabs I was tired and asked her if she could drive home. "No, Mommy, I can't drive. I'm not in the front seat!" :)

One, Two, Three, fourfive GO!

Being that we live in our townhome, there are one of these green electrical boxes every 20 feet for about a 1/2 mile stretch. Gabs new thing is to climb onto and jump off of every single one on our nightly walks. One, Two, Three, fourfive GO!
